A classic Gavroche / Balloon linen cap, dedicated for hot summer days, but still very elegant. Sometimes it is called an "artist cap". Cap has a floppy crown with a decorative button on top.

This retro Gavroche cap is a great choice for summer - it has no lining and linen is a very lightweight and breathable fabric. The sweatband is made of cotton. Cap protects your head from the sun and doesn't heat it up. It has a floppy, easy modelling crown with a button on top.

A similar cap was worn by the poor boy Gavroche from "Les Misérables" by Victor Hugo. This linen artist hat is available in big xxl and xxxl sizes. Precise handmade craftsmanship from Poland.

How to choose the right size of a cap?

If you are a fan of headwear, including various types of caps, the upcoming season will be your time - not only retro/vintage models are coming back to favour but also old-school ones, such as the Bucket Hats, which are popular among American rappers. A wide choice can be troublesome, especially for undecided people

When to wear a cap/hat and when not to - some basic rules of good manners

Until a few decades ago, headwear was one of the obligatory elements of both women's and men's stylisations. Presently, caps, flat caps and hats are slowly becoming fashionable again - more and more often, we wear them not only on a daily basis but also for more formal, elegant meetings.

Caps in various social groups

The appropriately chosen headwear is certainly a stylish addition to both casual and more formal outfits. Some caps indicate belonging to a particular social group or a particular occupational group. In which groups does headwear play a key role? What does each of them mean? Find out all about this in the article!
