Simplicity Above All

The Duke is one of the simplest styles in our collection. No visor, decorative elements, or complicated construction. Its classic beanie form is based on a small crown, six seams meeting at the top, and a turned-up cuff.

In such a simple style, there is no room for elements that distract from what matters most. The proportions, craftsmanship, and above all the material are what count.

That is why the Duke was created from a combination of two exceptional natural fibers. Cashmere provides its characteristic softness, while ultrafine merino wool complements it with its thermoregulating properties.

Cashmere and Merino

Half of the Duke is made from cashmere sourced from recycled yarn and certified according to the GRS standard. This fiber is valued primarily for its softness, lightness, and ability to provide thermal comfort without the need for a heavy, thick knit.

The other half is ultrafine merino wool. Its delicate fibers regulate temperature and manage moisture effectively, helping the material remain comfortable during extended wear.

Combining cashmere and merino allowed us to create a knit that is warm without being heavy. Soft, yet suitable for everyday wear.

It is the material that defines the Duke more than anything else.

One Cap, Many Possibilities

The minimalist form means the Duke does not dictate how it should be worn. The turned-up cuff can be adjusted according to your preference, while the stretchy knit naturally adapts to the shape of the head.

The universal size fits head circumferences from 54 to 62 cm, allowing the same style to be worn by both women and men.

The Duke works equally well with a classic coat, a winter jacket, or a more casual wardrobe. It is one of those styles whose character does not come from decoration.

Here, what matters most is the material, simplicity, and comfort.

One Hundred Years of Passion and Craftsmanship

In 1926, Anna Sterkowska opened her workshop in Warsaw. She could not have known that four generations later, her great-grandchildren would be making caps for people all over the world.

She knew one thing: a good cap requires excellent materials and craftsmanship.

For one hundred years, nothing has changed in this philosophy. Every cap that leaves our workshop is the result of knowledge passed down from generation to generation. We are proud to continue creating new caps and hats for you every day.
