Newsboy RUNE - the essence of things

Some things carry the calm of the earth. And the lightness of air. RUNE is a newsboy cap crafted from handwoven linen in a Mazurian workshop, dyed with herbal and plant-based infusions that have accompanied people for centuries - indigo, goldenrod, logwood, and annatto. The RUNE cap draws from what is primal, mythical, and authentic all at once. Its name references symbols that, in Slavic tradition, were meant to protect, guide, and connect with nature. In the Slavic world, not everything needed to be understood. It was enough to know what mattered.

Linen - as close to nature as it gets...

The process of handweaving linen is time-consuming and labor-intensive - each thread must be guided with precision that cannot be rushed. It's a demanding material, especially in the field of tailoring. Creating a good linen cap requires a craftsman with knowledge, experience, and intuition. Yet, the result is worth the effort, as the material is durable and serves for years, losing nothing over time, and even gaining character. Linen allows the skin to breathe freely. Its structure promotes air circulation. The lignin in its fibers acts as a natural sun filter, limiting UV penetration. It has hypoallergenic and bacteriostatic properties - it doesn't cause allergies and inhibits the growth of microorganisms and fungi. Additionally, the material doesn't tend to become static, so it doesn't attract dust.
