I love this hat. It had an “Old World” quality fit and finish that is excellent. The black leather and stitching is first rate and fit is perfect.

I do love Sterkowski hats, wear my flat caps and get many compliments! I have a smaller size circumference so they work for me. I was so excited to get this leather one but, when I took it out of the box, my heart sank. I wanted the leather to be like in the pic of it, instead it’s more “pleather-like”. There isn’t a discernible leather smell, which I was looking forward to. I wanted the cap to crinkle and age the more I wore it. This one seems like it’s going to stay in this non-leather too shiny stage. I ordered the smallest size, but it is swiveling on my head. I have been so bummed, and packed it back in it’s box since I didn’t want to look at it, instead of wearing it straightaway, getting it to shape itself on my head. I will continue to order from Sterkowski (I am a devoted Pol!) but chalking this one off as a miss, albeit an expensive one, but I am trying to come up with somebody whose head it will fit and I can give it to them!
