The Islay combines one of the most distinctive styles from our workshop with a fabric inseparably linked to the Scottish islands. Here, the classic Maciejówka silhouette meets Harris Tweed and details made from natural leather.

What distinguishes the Islay from more traditional Maciejówka caps is primarily its soft construction. We have removed the stiffening from the band, allowing the crown to fall more naturally and giving the cap a more relaxed character.

The design is completed by a leather strap, buttons, and visor trim. These details work particularly well with the distinctive texture of the wool fabric.

From the Outer Hebrides

Harris Tweed is not simply the name of a type of tweed. It is a fabric with a strictly defined origin and production method, protected by Scottish law.

It is made in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. It is produced from 100% pure new wool and handwoven by local weavers. Authentic Harris Tweed can be identified by the distinctive Orb Mark, which certifies its origin.

Its traditional production method has allowed the fabric to retain the character for which it has been renowned for generations.

In 1926, Anna Sterkowska opened her workshop in Warsaw. She could not have known that four generations later, her great-grandchildren would be making caps for people all over the world.
