Love everything but the Sterkowski badge
Very nicely made cap, good materials, correct fit, great for the price. I've been a "hat guy" for over 60 years, and I know quality when I see it. The only thing I don't like is the little bronze Sterkowski badge, for two reasons: 1 - It kind of defeats the whole authentic European peasant cap look, it "Kangol-izes" the cap as a modern fashion item. 2 - I simply hate wearing anything with corporate logos or brand names... even for products I love. I'm not a walking advertisement! I would simply remove the badge... but this cap is so well constructed that that's not so easy! I don't want to cut into the lining or leave a hole in the exterior wool...

Sterkowski - You Can Count on Being Satisfied
I've been buying Sterkowski caps and hats for a few years - even before they launched their wonderful new website. Most of my purchases are "Fiddler-like" caps. The quality craftsmanship is fantastic, and the cap construction exceeds expectations. The prices are competitive, and the quality and price are aligned. No disappointments - the opposite. Twice - once when I received the wrong cap and a second time the wrong size - I contacted their service department by email, and there were no issues! They immediately send me the right item. Worth the wait
My hat got stuck in US customs for longer than I expected (at absolutely no fault of Sterkowski), so I have been waiting as patiently as possible to receive my hat. It arrived today, and I absolutely love it. This is such fine quality work, and at a very great price. Apparel quality has declined so much in recent years with the "fast fashion" trends, and it is so very refreshing to find a quality made item. You can see the love, care, attention to detail, and commitment to craftmanship in every stitch, and pieve of fabric. While this may have been the first hat I ordered from Sterkowski, there will be many more to come over the years. They have made a life long customer out of me, and I look forward to ordering future work by this fine organization.
