Year 1926. One Road. One Year.

In 1926, Route 66 opened - a road that connected Chicago with Los Angeles through the heart of America. Through fields, workshops, mining towns and refineries. Through the Rust Belt - the industrial backbone of the States, where people worked without pretending to be anything they weren't. Mechanics, welders, truck drivers. People with a workshop in their hands and a road ahead of them.

Sterkowski Works 66 is our answer to that world - a cap with the soul of a real workshop. A material that works just like you.

Buggy Wasn't Born at a Drawing Board. It Was Born in a Workshop.

Its history begins in 1937 in the United States Army. Soldiers were issued a blue denim work uniform - trousers, a jacket and a hat with a wide, drooping brim. That hat quickly earned the nickname "Daisy Mae" - after a character from the popular comic strip "Li'l Abner". Soft, functional, with a brim that protected against sun and rain. Designed for work.

A Material That Works Alongside You

The twill weave - the same one that started in mines and on farms. Its diagonal structure gives the fabric elasticity and durability at the same time.

Industrial washing releases tension from the fibres - the material is immediately soft to the touch, ready to wear. Without losing a single gram of durability.

Denim is one of the few materials that looks better with use - every scuff, every mark from the workshop becomes part of the cap's story.

A Hundred Years of Passion and Craft.

In 1926, Anna Sterkowska opened a workshop in Warsaw. She didn't know that four generations later her grandchildren would be making caps for people all over the world.

She knew one thing - that a good cap requires great material and craftsmanship.

For a hundred years, nothing in that philosophy has changed. Every cap that leaves our workshop is the result of knowledge passed down from generation to generation. We are proud to deliver caps and hats to you every day.
