The good: I really like this hat. I like that it has a rounded, unstructured crown. I wear short short brimmed soft hats like this exclusively. The Buggy is just casual enough for a daily hat with a little old style sophistication, without being "fancy." At home knocking around or at work. I like my Hemp Golf Hat and the Glen is pretty nice, but is just slightly more formal than the Buggy The Harris Tweed is a great fit for this. Nice and warm and breathable, not hot and sweaty. The... bad?: My hat took six weeks to get here, with little to no updates, and when it showed up the box was crushed (hat was fine). Sterkowski is not to blame. The shipper really dropped the ball. I measure at about 57.5 cm, so I never know which way to go on sizing. Generally I order a 58cm and shrink to fit. This hat at 58cm was pretty big on me, bigger than usual. I did a hot water soak and wore it until dry. It fits now, but is just on the edge of too loose. I may shrink it again and let it dry on a towel so it snugs up a little more? If I could do it again I might get 57cm, in this style? This is a "me" problem, not a Sterkowski problem. In conclusion: Sterkowski makes excellent hats and caps. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The quality far exceeds the price. I appreciate that Sterkowski uses a cotton liner. I do not like synthetic and non-breathable liners. I especially appreciate that I can handwash these. I would love to see the Buggy offered in unlined cotton and Hemp.
