SiXA x Sterkowski

Joanna Sikora, better known as Sixa (@badassrocknrolla), has been working in television and film production as a director and producer for nearly twenty years. But cameras and film sets are only one part of her world. The other has long been filled with motorcycles, cars, fashion, and everything that happens somewhere between the road and the workshop.

Sixa didn’t enter the automotive world just for this project. She has been part of this community for years. She rides, travels, meets people and machines, and naturally brings the experiences from this part of her life into her work. In her world, classic motoring blends with streetwear, pop culture, and her own highly distinctive way of looking at things.

That’s why, when we started working together on the Mechanik cap, we didn’t simply want to put her name on a finished product. Sixa was involved in shaping its character from the very beginning, from the initial idea and visual direction to the story behind it.

Too Cool to Care!

Not everything you wear has to appeal to everyone. And that’s probably a good thing. Some things you choose not because they meet other people’s expectations, but simply because you feel good wearing them.

TOO COOL TO CARE. A little confidence, a little defiance, and a lot less worrying about what other people might say.

That’s exactly why we chose leopard print. A pattern that has long done the exact opposite of what good camouflage is supposed to do. Instead of hiding you, it attracts attention. It’s bold, expressive, and has never really tried to blend in with the rest.

Then we added our statement. Not as instructions on how to wear this cap, because you probably don’t need those. More as a reminder that if you like something, you don’t always need a second opinion.

If you like it, that’s really all that matters.

Character Written by Hand

Mateusz Wolski, aka WLK Calii, comes from Jaworzno but has been working in Katowice for years, where he runs his own studio. His world revolves around letters. Calligraphy, calligraffiti, lettering, and tattooing. But in his hands, a letter rarely remains just a letter. It gains movement, character, and a little grit you won’t find in a ready-made font.

His work brings two worlds together. On one side, the precision of calligraphy, where every movement of the hand matters. On the other, graffiti and tattooing, where a line can be quick, bold, and doesn’t always have to play by the rules. It’s this combination that makes his style recognizable without even seeing the signature.

You Won’t Blend In Wearing This.

Leopard print has never been for the shy. It’s bold, a little cheeky, and instantly gives anything its own character. It doesn’t try to be neutral or go with everything. And that’s probably why it keeps returning to fashion in new forms, year after year.

Our leopard print is printed on cotton using eco-friendly dyes that don’t alter the fabric’s natural properties. The print changes its appearance, but not what matters most about the material itself. The cotton remains soft, breathable, and pleasant to the touch, making it ideal for everyday wear.

But we didn’t want to make leopard print behave itself. This pattern is meant to be seen and attract attention. In this case, blending into the crowd simply isn’t an option.

One Hundred Years of Passion and Craftsmanship

In 1926, Anna Sterkowska opened a workshop in Warsaw. She had no way of knowing that four generations later, her grandchildren would be making caps and hats for people all over the world.

She knew one thing: a great cap requires exceptional materials and skilled craftsmanship.

For one hundred years, nothing about that philosophy has changed. Every cap and hat that leaves our workshop is the result of knowledge passed down from generation to generation. We are proud to bring you new caps and hats every day.
