Shelby is a warm and comfortable Newsboy cap for winter and transitional seasons. The 100% wool Shelby cap is a design inspired by the headwear worn by the local Birmingham gang at the end of the 19th century. Thanks to John Douglas's novel ‘A Walk Down Summer Lane’ the story of the gang became widely known, and the newsboy cap style has become firmly established in fashion trends.
Shelby is comfortable and practical headwear. It's designed for everyday wear and perfectly complements any style. The crown of the Shelby cap is narrower than the Peaky model, which beautifully accentuates the shape of the face and doesn't visually enlarge the head. The 100% premium wool provides thermal comfort, while the cotton lining and inner sweatband make the cap comfortable to the user and gentle on the scalp. The Shelby has an attractive and aesthetic appearance thanks to the eight-panel stitched crown and a decorative button at the top. The memory-shaped visor allows for a more personalized fit.

Perfect fit!
Love the fabric and the fit. Color matches with darn near everything. 10 out of 10 would by again! Recommendation; measure your head in centimeters and then order the correct size.

Fantastic cap
Shelby wool (mine is dark grey) is stylish and elegant. It resembles a lot like the peaky blinders. Indeed the fabric used and workmanship for making the cap is of high quality. Highly recommended.

Everything I hoped for!
I love the hat, period. I look forward to ordering the Shelby in other colors and materials. Note: I ordered a 56cm after trying a 57cm which was too big even though my normal size is a 57cm. Customer service gave me great support on this and all is well.

Sterkowski Shelby - Fantastic Hat
I already have 3 Sterkowski Shelbys - Wool, Harris Tweed and Cotton version. They are all supremely great looking newsboy hats. Fabrics and workmanship are top notch, sizing is precise and they are wearable like dream. In my opinion, you can not find better newsboy hat anywhere else. And the price point is very fair. Great work Sterkowski.
