In the 1940s similar caps were worn by the US Air Force mechanics. It was so comfy that it became very popular among all people.
Mechanic is a very original denim cap that protects very well from the sun. The denim ultraviolet protection factor is 50+. Its 6cm long stitched bill can be worned in the up position. The crown of the cap is made of 6 triangular pieces of material, so-called gores. The sweatband is elastic and soft, it does not have any stiff material inside. No lining inside makes it even more light and breathable. On the back of the crown there is a natural leather label.

Great hat
This hat is comfortable and I can fold it up and put it in my pocket when I need to. I went ahead and bought the lighter denim one as well!

Excellent work hat!
I love this hat. It's comfortable and well made. I really like it's distinctive look. I wear it everyday at work now.
