Because of its foldable earflap and warm padded quilted lining it protects a wearer's head, ears and nape from cold very well. Inside the crown there is a cotton sweatband.

Harris Tweed is a fine woollen fabric with a distinctive weave originating from the Scottish Outer Hebrides. It has a typical tight, diagonal weave and the most common pattern is herringbone.

Love the cap!
This is my new favorite winter cap. Excellent quality perfect fit and it really keeps your head and ears warm. Really keeps the wind off you.

Rating is for customer service
This is the fifth hat I have purchased from Sterkowski. I have always been happy with the quality and price. This item however was sent to the wrong address. When I contacted customer service they refused to acknowledge that a mistake had been made and have declined to offer any resolution. I would gladly update this review if the company would compensate me for my loss but as it stands now I am frustrated with the lack of accountability and would warn other customers of the risk if they intend to have items shipped to the US.
