We're happy to ship our caps and hats to people worldwide. Whichever option you choose, please know that every package we send is always securely packaged, registered, and insured.

Here's everything you need to know about receiving your order:

IMPORTANT SHIPPING UPDATE FOR U.S. DELIVERIES

Starting August 29, 2025, new U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations require that all goods shipped from Poland (and Europe) to the United States are subject to import duties.

Any applicable duties will now be calculated and shown at checkout as a separate line item, so the full amount is paid in advance. This ensures your order can clear customs without additional charges or delivery delays.

For our hats, the duty rate is 15%, as determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Previously, orders valued under $800 were exempt under the U.S. de minimis threshold, but this exemption no longer applies - all shipments now require duties, regardless of value.

Shipping methods remain unchanged - we continue to use UPS for fast and reliable delivery.

Please note that shipments to the USA via the Polish national postal service (Poczta Polska) have been temporarily suspended. This is because the U.S. authorities have not yet provided the necessary solutions after ending the “de minimis” exemption. Orders to the United States will be processed only with available courier options. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Free standard shipping on orders over $200 to USA is suspended.

We've partnered with fulfillment centers in the United States to stock select hats and sizes. When you shop on sterkowski.com, you'll see which items are available from our US warehouse directly on the product page.

When your hat ships from within the US, there are no import duties, no customs delays, and no surprise charges at delivery. The price you see is the price you pay.

What About Products Not in the US Warehouse?

Not every style and size is currently stocked in our US facility - we're continuously evaluating which products to add based on popularity and demand.

The good news? Even if your preferred hat ships from our European workshop, you're still fully protected. All international shipments to the US are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), which means we cover all duties and taxes. You'll never face unexpected charges at your door.

How to Know Where Your Hat Ships From

It's simple:

  1. Select your preferred size on any product page
  2. Look for the shipping information that appears above the size selector
  3. If it says "Ships from US warehouse," you'll get fast, affordable domestic delivery
  4. If it says "Ships from EU," your order will be sent DDP with all duties covered

Which Products Are in the US Warehouse?

We're starting with our most popular newsboy hats, flat hats, and docker hats in the most requested sizes and colors. This includes favorites from our Heritage, Classic, and STRK collections.

Shipping options tailored to you

Choose the shipping option that works best for you:

    • Standard Shipping: Prices start at $8.50 (excl. tax). Delivery usually takes 8+ business days, and please note that in some cases, tracking may not be available in the destination country. It is however fully tracked within Poland.
    • Expedited Shipping: A faster option, starting at $13.50 (excl. tax), with delivery in 4+ business days.
    • FedEx Express: For the speed freaks! Starting at $32.50 (excl. tax), your order will arrive in 2+ business days.
    • UPS: Another express shipping option, starting at $21.00 (excl. tax), with delivery in 3+ business days.

When can I expect my order?

We know you can't wait to get your new hat, so here's how it works:

    • Order Preparation - Most caps and hats ship within 1 business day. During busy periods, it may take up to 2 business days. Some of our headwear, such as replicas or leather caps, are handcrafted to order. This means the turnaround time may be a little longer, but we promise it's worth the wait for something truly unique - perfection takes time ;) You'll find the exact turnaround time on the product page, so you know what to expect before placing your order.
    • Delivery to your doorstep - Once your order is ready, the delivery times will vary based on the shipping method you select (see options above).

In short, we craft it → we pack it → it's on its way to you :)
