After John Douglas's novel, A Walk Down Summer Lane, arised a myth about razor blades hidden between visor and crown of their caps. Those sharp razor blades were supposed to be used as a weapon, causing wounds or blindness of their victims.

Being a Brummies (person from Birmingham, UK), the city that was the setting for the 'Peaky Blinders' television program, I know what a Peaky cap should look like. Well Sterkowski got it just right! Fitted well, expertly made, and the Harris Tweed material is tremendous. Well done!

I have bought two hats so far from Sterkowski, and I couldn't be happier. I plan to buy more. I probably own 20 hats, and these are so classic and I love the quality for this price range. I've gotten many compliments on both my Peaky and Shelby caps. I'm excited I found this company, and there's no question I'll be buying more.

I was sold on this houndstooth pattern alone, which compliments the Harris Tweed. It is my favorite pattern of any hat I own. The Peaky Harris Tweed takes a daring soul, with style. It is a little larger in size than other caps like the shelby which I also love. Some of the Peaky Tweed that I own have different form. All are. Winners!

I have a collection of hats including some Irish flat caps. After watching “Peaky Blinders”, I found myself looking for a fuller newsboy type cap. I bought two, including this one from Sterkowski. I got the one with the houndstooth pattern that teminded me of the hat John Wayne wore in “The Quiet Man”. It is comfortable and lightweight. It has a bit more volume than I was really going for and I feel a bit of whimsy when I wear it. I mean, people have to think I’m out for a fun time if they see me in it. The price was very competitive compared to similar products I found on the internet. I feel great about this purchase and will keep it in my hat rotation.
