Its 7cm wide stitched brim protects well from the sun, doesn't heat up and makes it a perfect outdoor activity hat. It's a very lightweight packable sun hat with a sweatband made of cotton and 4 ventilation eyelets. The adjustable chin cord will stop the wind from taking your hat.

Tested under the sun
I have hand-picked tea leaves under the scorching August sun in Georgia (the country) wearing this hat. I could do without sunscreen as this hat protected my head and skin well enough.

The brim is only 5cm and not 7 as stated.
The brim is very uneven on both of the hats i ordered. on one hat its between 5-6cm and on the other between 5 1/2 to 6 1/2cm. the material is nice. I expected better for this price.

wide brim good fabric
It's so comfortable fabric especially in tropical area like Thailand. The brim is wide so it can protect you from extreme sunny day.
