Quality, style, and comfort

I've been looking for something like the Sterkowski Trawler hat for some time. My head shape is more suited to garrison-style caps than baseball hats so I've always skewed toward military style headwear. I've also been trying to up my style game as I enter middle age so I went searching online for vintage hat styles with a military flair and that's when I found Sterkowski. It's the first time I ever bought a hat specifically fitted to my head and I really appreciate the look and comfort that come with the precise right fit. The trawler was a bit too large at first but after washing and drying it once, it fit perfectly and has ever since. The navy color really suits my darker complexion. It's light weight and breathable so my head never gets too hot but still sturdy and has proven resistant to both fading and stains. I love it and, for once, so does my wife!

Shallow hat for my enormous head

Feels light weight yet very sturdy. I ordered the 62 cm and I have a tall head. When place on my head the weight of the hat is resting on the top of my hair which can get a little uncomfortable for me. I blame my head not the hat. Great hat
